Everton plot swoop for Man Utd striker
Everton are reportedly mulling over a summer offer for Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck, according to The Telegraph.
The England international has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks, with manager Louis van Gaal considering him as surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
A report from the Telegraph claims that Toffees manager Roberto Martinez is keen on adding another striker to accompany summer signing Romelu Lukaku upfront at the club.
In addition to this, Everton are also tracking free-agent Samuel Eto'o who has been recently linked with a switch to league rivals Liverpool.
Welbeck came on a substitute during United's 1-1 draw at Sunderland yesterday.
