Arsenal to hijack move for Chelsea target
Arsenal have reportedly made a late bid for Chelsea target and Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, according to Goal.com
The French international has been constantly linked with a summer switch away from Loftus Road, with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool interested in his services.
Liverpool failed to sign up the talented forward after he failed a medical at the club, and this paved the way for Chelsea to secure the player's signature before the transfer deadline on September 1.
However, a report from Goal.com claims that the Gunners have triggered Remy's £10.5m buy-out clause, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on signing up a striker following the long-term leg injury to Olivier Giroud.
Arsenal play away at Leicester City in the Premier League tonight.
