Atletico Madrid chasing Chelsea midfielder Ramires
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is tracking Brazilian midfielder Ramires. The Chelsea player could be sold in the January transfer window by Jose Mourinho but only if a team matches the club's reported valuation of 24 million euros.
Atletico Madrid have an estimated 45 million euro budget for the January transfer window and apparently want to spend the bulk of that fund on a move for Brazilian international Ramires.
Ramires has only started 2 of Chelsea's last 5 Premier League games as Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has so far preferred to play Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Vidic together in the Blues' star studded midfield.
Since the midfielder arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2010 from Benfica, the 27-year-old has been a first team regular and played over 125 games for Chelsea.
