Chelsea to offload Ramires?

Chelsea are apparently open to the sale of star midfielder Ramires in the upcoming transfer window.

The former Benfica man has failed to cement his place in the first-team under manager Jose Mourinho this season due to a series of injuries.

In addition to this, the arrival of summer signing Cesc Fabregas has dented his chances of featuring on a regular basis, with Nemanja Matic also sealing the other central midfield role.

Real Madrid could make a move for the Brazilian international in the New Year as they seek a replacement for outbound star Sami Khedira.

Ramires has started just three games for the Blues this season.
