Man Utd to offload Robin van Persie
Manchester United could reportedly ditch star striker Robin van Persie next summer, according to Evening Standard.
The Netherlands international joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in the summer of 2012, and has since then been a regular in the first-team setup.
However, Van Persie's indifferent form in front of goal this season, could led to his exit from Old Trafford, 12 months before the end of his existing contract.
Evening Standard claims that manager Louis van Gaal will offload the talented striker in the summer, in spite of having a great relationship with him.
The report adds that the club are lining up Edinson Cavani and Thomas Muller as potential alternatives for the flying Dutchman.
Van Persie is in line to feature against his former club Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
