Sunderland to sign Christian Atsu?

Sunderland could secure the services of Chelsea forward Christian Atsu on a temporary basis in January.
The Ghana international joined Everton on a season-long loan from Chelsea in the summer, but has since then made just three appearance for the Merseyside outfit.
The Mirror claims that the Blues are angry at the Toffees' unwillingness to play Atsu, and could recall the striker in the New Year.
In addition to this, Sunderland are willing to offer first-team opportunities to the 22-year-old and would make a loan move for his signature this winter.
Atsu has recently revealed that he is happy at the Toffees in spite of failing to feature on a regular basis.
