Liverpool boss brushes off Balotelli exit rumours
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has dismissed reports linking striker Mario Balotelli with a move away from the Merseyside in January.
Recent reports revealed that the Italy international could be set for a swift return to the Serie A with Inter Milan, who are currently managed by Roberto Mancini.
However, Rodgers has denied the claims by insisting that the former Manchester City star is currently injured and will come back to the scheme of things once he regains full fitness.
"He's still very much a Liverpool player but he's injured at the moment and there's nothing more to add," He said.
"He's not fit to play and my concentration is on players who are fit and available to play and that's my only thinking at the moment."
