Davis has recovered from a hamstring injury as well as an illness but Pedro Mendes is set to keep his place.
Ledley King (long term), Anthony Gardner (ankle), Ricardo Rocha (ankle), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) and Gareth Bale (foot) are all long-term injury absentees for Tottenham; whilst Robbie Keane is suspended.

David James: Spurs are tough

"It was last season when we drew down here and lost away, they always seem to test me.
