Southampton to bid for Charlie Austin

Southampton will reportedly consider a summer move for Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin.

The talented striker has been one of the stand-out performers for the London outfit in what has been a difficult campaign for them in the top tier.

According to Goal.com, the Saints have placed the former Burnley star at the top of their summer transfer shortlist.

It is also understood that the South Coast outfit expect Jay Rodriguez to exit St.Mary's in the summer, and manager Ronald Koeman is keen on signing up a like for like replacement.
