Liverpool keen on signing Vietto

Liverpool have placed Villareal's Luciano Vietto as their number one target during the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the best young strikers in La Liga, following a string of impressive performances for the Yellow Submarine.

According to The Guardian, the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is a huge admirer of the player's talents and is keen on having him on-board at the end of the current campaign.

Reports elsewhere reveal that Barcelona could swoop for the talented striker, should their transfer embargo be lifted.
