Southampton eye move for Carl Jenkinson
Southampton eye move for Carl Jenkinson

Southampton face the threat of losing Nathaniel Clyne in the summer and have identified Carl Jenkinson as a possible replacement. The Arsenal player is currently on loan at West Ham.
The emergence of Hector Bellerin at Arsenal has effectively ended the chance of Jenkinson forcing his way into the Gunners' first team and he will now move elsewhere in the summer. Arsenal are confident that they can secure a decent transfer fee for the full back. The Gunners already signed Calum Chambers from The Saints last season and Man Utd are confident that they will wrap up a deal for Nathaniel Clyne, ensuring that Jenkinson will be on his way in to take over the full back position.
