Chelsea interested in Charlie Austin

Chelsea have shown interest in signing up Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin during the summer transfer window.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen on recruiting at least one top striker this summer, having seen Didier Drogba leave the Premier League champions at the end of the contract.

According to ESPN, Mourinho will try to sign up the former Clarets man, should the club fail in their pursuit of AS Monaco's Radamel Falcao.

Austin scored 18 league goals for the R's last season.
