Otamendi deal close for Man Utd

Manchester United have moved ever closer to wrapping up a transfer for Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi. The centre back will sign a five year deal at Old Trafford.

The Argentina international has been a target for United for over a year and manager Louis van Gaal is believed to have finally agreed a fee for the player. Valencia are understood to have accepted a fee of approximately 27. 6 million euros for the defender who is currently on international duty. United will beat bitter rivals Man City to the player's signing.
