Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne is close to sealing a move to Liverpool following a successful medical.

The England international has been tipped to leave the Saints following the signing of Cedric Soares from Sporting Lisbon.

Widespread reports reveal that the Reds are close to announcing the right-back's arrival having undergone a successful medical at the club.

Liverpool have already agreed deals in principle to sign Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, James Milner and Roberto Firmino.
