Man City to renew Jack Wilshere pursuit
Manchester City are expected to make a bid for Arsenal midfield sensation Jack Wilshere this month.
The Citizens had been constantly linked with a move for the England international in June, with manager Manuel Pellegrini keen on strengthening the club's midfield options.
Wilshere is considered as a preferable option as he would also boost the club's homegrown quota, which has gone down since the departures of James Milner, Micah Richards, and Scott Sinclair this summer.
It is now understood that City are expected to start their spending spree this month, with Jack Wilshere, Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph among the main targets for the Mancunian giants.
Wilshere has shown glimpses of his old form as he bagged his first two goals for England against Slovenia in the European qualifiers.
