Liverpool favourites to sign PREMIER LEAGUE STAR

Liverpool are close to signing their seventh player of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has shown keen interest in bolstering his strike front this summer. and having already secured the signatures of Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino.

However, Corriere dello Sport cites that the Reds are in the pursuit of yet another striker in Manchester City's Stevan Jovetic.

It is added that the Merseyside giants could land the player's signature for a fee in the region of £16m this summer.

Liverpool have been the busiest Premier League club having already brought in six players in the transfer window.
