Nacho Monreal content at Arsenal

Spanish defender Nacho Monreal has insisted that he is 'very happy' at Arsenal amidst speculation of a move away from the Emirates.

The talented left-back has been linked with a switch away from the Gunners in recent weeks, with Athletic Bilbao keen on landing his signature.

However, Monreal, who has just a year left on his current deal at Arsenal, has revealed that he is happy plying his trade for the North London giants, and will look to fight for his place in the first-team next season.

Monreal was the club's favoured left-back ahead of Kieran Gibbs in the second half of last season.
