Chelsea could make a shock move for Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani, according to reports.

The Blues boss Jose Mourinho has recently hinted that star striker Diego Costa could be in and out of the first-team due to an incurring hamstring problem.

Reports in France claim that the Premier League champions could make a surprise move for the Uruguayan frontman, with Mourinho not content with Loic Remy as the club's back-up striker.

Cavani has often played as second striker behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic since his move from Napoli in 2013.
