Cigarini to Juventus?

Parma's 21-year-old midfielder Luca Cigarini could be set for a move to Serie A rivals Juventus. The midfielder could be set to make a move estimated to be worth around £5 million; but Fiorentina are believed to be out of the picture despite holding an interest in the talented playmaker dubbed the 'new Andrea Pirlo'.

Cigarini's agent Giovanni Bia has confessed several big clubs are already chasing his client: “Luca has received many offers, including Inter, Fiorentina and Juventus.

“With all due respect to Fiorentina, when clubs like the aforementioned duo come knocking it is hard to say no.”

However, Parma's chairman Tomasso Ghirardi has refused any speculation his player could leave: "I like Cigarini, so therefore he will stay with Parma. The market? We may sell, if someone is unhappy and wants to leave."
