Man Utd weigh up Harry Kane bid

Manchester United are set to launch a winter offer for Tottenham Hotspur sensation Harry Kane, according to reports.

The England international has been in exemplary touch for Spurs over the past year, and this has caught the eye of some of Premier League's top clubs.

According to The Star, United boss Louis van Gaal is ready to take desperate measures following the club's failure to find the net on a regular basis this season.

In addition to this, Mancunian giants are ready to lodge a £50m offer for the Englishman, who has already netted eight goals in the league this campaign.

However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to be tempted by such a sum as the club aim to reach greater heights with Kane leading the line in 2016.

United are also keeping tabs of Leicester City star Jamie Vardy and Southampton attacker Sadio Mane.
