Arsenal enter race for Kortney Hause
Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause is being tracked by Arsenal scouts. The centre back has caught the eye of Arsene Wenger, who sent his chief scout to monitor the 20-year-old defender in action.
The England under-21 international, who has two years left on his contract at Molineux, stands tall at 6 foot 8 and is said to remind Arsenal's scouting network of a young Per Mertesacker.
The former West Ham United youth player left the Hammers in 2012 for Wycombe Wanderers, before Wolves snapped him up on the cheap in 2014. After an impressive campaign for Wolves, Hause now looks set for a surprise transfer to the English top flight and the Gunners are believed to be in pole position to secure Hause's signature.
