Man Utd consider Pochettino for head coach role
Manchester United are considering the prospect of appointing Mauricio Pochettino as the club's next manager. The Argentine has made great strides at Tottenham Hotspur, and this has earned him plaudits from the media.
Pochettino left Southampton to join Spurs in 2014 with a view to grooming a crop of young players into top professionals. Since then, he has had Spurs clicking and currently finds his side challenging at the top for the league title.
According to The Sun, United chief Ed Woodward is increasingly interested in moving for Pochettino as a replacement for the under performing Louis van Gaal.
However, Jose Mourinho remains the primary target for the Mancunian giants.
Spurs are currently second in the Premier League, five points adrift of leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
