West Ham plot Yaya Toure swoop

West Ham United are the latest side to show interested in signing outbound Manchester City star Yaya Toure. The Ivory Coast international has been tipped to make way from the Etihad this summer.

The 32-year-old has had a shrewd relationship with incoming boss Pep Guardiola, and this has led to claims that he may be forced to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.

The likes of Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with potential moves for the African star, but according to Brentwood Gazette, the Hammers are set to launch a bid of their own for the versatile player.

Slaven Bilic's side are willing to pay a fee of around £20m to land the former Barcelona man.

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke and Arsenal ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also on the radar of the East London outfit.
