Hatem Ben Arfa on Bayern radar
Nice playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa has emerged as a surprise target for Bayern Munich ahead of the summer transfer window. The France international has been tipped to seek a fresh challenge with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old joined the Ligue 1 minnows last summer following a dismal spell at Newcastle United that saw him dropped to the reserves.
Ben Arfa has since then had a new lease of life and currently finds himself in the reckoning for selection with Les Bleus at Euro 2016.
German outlet Kicker claims that Bayern sporting director Michael Reschke was impressed by what he had seen of the attacker against Reims over the weekend, and a contract offer could be made in the coming weeks.
The Frenchman is expected to decide on his future in the summer with the likes of AC Milan, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund also vying for his signature.
Ben Arfa has amassed 17 goals and five assists for Nice, who are challenging for a Champions League place this term.
