Walcott reveals Arsenal exit plan
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has made his mind up for a fresh move after he failed to make it to England's squad for Euro 2016. The 27-year-old had had a season to forget at the Emirates with first-team chances hard to come by.
Walcott started off the season in convincing fashion and there were suggestions that he could get in the necessary goals to keep the club aloft in the title race.
However, he failed to keep up with his performances, and this left manager Arsene Wenger with no choice other than replacing him with Olivier Giroud for the centre-forward role.
Since then, Walcott has been in-and-out of the starting line-up with the likes of Danny Welbeck, Joel Campbell and upcoming star Alex Iwobi being preferred for the wide positions.
Sources now reveal that the Englishman is likely to request a move away from North London following his Three Lions snub earlier this week.
London rivals West Ham United are leading the chase for Walcott with Chelsea keeping tabs on his status.
Walcott is currently the Gunners' longest serving player having joined them from Southampton back in 2006.
