Liverpool fail in Chilwell approach
Liverpool have had an initial bid rejected for Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell. The 19-year-old is expected to be on the move this summer amid interest from several Premier League clubs.
The Telegraph reports that the Reds had made a £7m offer for the teenage left-back after manager Jurgen Klopp was not convinced with Alberto Moreno's showing last term.
However, the approach was swiftly turned down with the Premier League champions holding out for a £10m fee for their young graduate.
League rivals Arsenal were previously in the running to pursue the full-back before they were put off by the Foxes' asking price.
Chilwell has yet to make an appearance in the top flight of English football.
