Arsenal agree terms with Romelu Lukaku
Arsenal have finalized personal terms with Chelsea target and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. The 23-year-old is currently featuring for Belgium at Euro 2016.
Lukaku has already expressed his desire to move on to a bigger club capable of winning trophies.
Recent reports suggested that the Blues were leading the chase for the talented marksman with manager Antonio Conte willing to play him alongside Diego Costa upfront next season.
However, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, the Gunners have managed to move ahead of their London rivals by agreeing terms over a contract with the Belgian international.
Arsene Wenger's side will now have to negotiate a price with the Toffees, who are holding out for a £60m sum for their asset.
Mesut Ozil is currently the Gunners' most expensive signing having joined them from Real Madrid for £42.4m in 2013.
