United set price for Sunderland target Januzaj

New Sunderland manager David Moyes has identified Adnan Januzaj as a potential transfer target, but the Black Cats will have to fork out at least £10 million to land the 21-year-old, according to reports.

Januzaj enjoyed a breakthrough season for Manchester United during Moyes's only campaign in charge at Old Trafford three years ago, and the new Sunderland boss is keen to work with the talented Belgian youngster once again at the Stadium of Light.

But The Sun is reporting that United will only listen to offers in excess of £10 million for Januzaj, which could be prohibitive to any deal.

Januzaj has struggled to find his best form since his debut season, and was even loaned out to Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season.

The six-cap Belgium international was supposed to spend the entire campaign on loan with the Bundesliga side but, having made just two starts for Thomas Tuchel's men, the deal was cancelled in January and Januzaj returned to Old Trafford.

The youngster was a peripheral figure for the Red Devils under Louis van Gaal as last season wound down, and it appears that he does not figure in new manager José Mourinho's plans for the upcoming season.

The Mirror is also reporting that Serie A club Lazio, who currently have former United starlet Ravel Morrison on their books, are set to rival Sunderland for Januzaj's signature.
