Newcastle want Pandev
Goran Pandev is the latest player to be linked with a move to Newcastle as Kevin Keegan looks to add more firepower to his squad. The Macedonian striker is being linked with a £9 million move away from Lazio.
The Macedonian has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent times with clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal said to be interested in the 24 year old. He joined the Serie A in 2004 from Inter Milan where he failed to make an impact in the first team.
In an interview with Makedonski Sport, Pandev said,"This morning the people from the club told me about the offer from Newcastle... Keegan's club want the negotiations to start soon, but I don't know anything about the figures and a possible sum."
