Watford agree fee for Daryl Janmaat
Watford have reached an agreement with Newcastle United to sign Dutch full-back Daryl Janmaat this summer. The 27-year-old had been tipped to leave the Magpies after they were relegated from the top flight.
The Magpies have permitted the sale of the Netherlands international after finalized a move to bring DeAndre Yedlin from Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Sky Sports News, the Hornets have settled on a £7.5m sum for the right-back, who has impressed in his previous seasons in the Premier League.
Janmaat join the likes of Andros Townsend and Georginio Wijnaldum in making a return to the top tier in the transfer window.
The Dutchman appeared in 75 games for Newcastle United following his switch from Feyenoord in the summer of 2014. He was also part of his national side that reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in the same year.
