James Rodriguez set for Real Madrid stay
Reported Chelsea and Arsenal target James Rodriguez is likely to stay put at Real Madrid after they received no offers for his services. The Colombian joined the European champions from AS Monaco in 2014.
The 25-year-old had been expected to leave the Bernabeu this summer with Zinedine Zidane preferring the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale ahead of him in the pecking order.
However, according to Cadena Cope, Los Blancos have yet to find a suitor for the attacker, and there is unlikely to be any movement before the transfer deadline.
Premier League giants Chelsea were recently speculated to be preparing a £60m offer for Rodriguez whilst London rivals Arsenal have been linked with almost every other player in the market this summer.
Rodriguez has netted 25 goals in 80 outings for Los Blancos till date. He was recently part of his national team that finished third at the Copa America Centenario.
