Liverpool have lodged an attempt to sign young midfielder Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund. The USA international is regarded as one of the best upcoming prospects in Bundesliga.

Pulisic, 17, joined BVB during Jurgen Klopp's reign in 2015, and has since progressed into the first-team.

According to The Star, the Reds have made an £11m offer for the teenager amid interest from league rivals Stoke City.

The attacker appeared in 12 games for Dortmund last term netting two times in the progress. He became the youngest player to represent his nation when he made his debut against Guatemala in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

It will be interesting to see how their transfer story pans out given manager Thomas Tuchel has recently suggested that they would be no more players leaving the club.
