Batshuayi heading for Marseille return?
Marseille will propose to re-sign former player Michy Batshuayi on a temporary deal in January. The Belgian international has struggled for first-team opportunities at Chelsea this term.
Batshuayi, 23, had been the subject of interest from the likes of West Ham United and Crystal Palace over the summer, but he snubbed their advances for a big-time move to Stamford Bridge.
He has since had restricted playing time with manager Antonio Conte reluctant to play him alongside Diego Costa upfront, whilst his starts have come exclusively in the EFL Cup.
French outlet Le 10 Sport suggests that Les Phoceens will seek to retain the player's services on loan this winter, should his situation remain the same at the West London giants.
Batshuayi has made five substitute appearances for Chelsea in the league, but he played no part in his side's 2-0 win at Hull City on Saturday.
