Would Zlatan move to Delhi?

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is wanted by Indian Premier League side Delhi Dynamos, according to reports in India.

Indian newspaper the Indian Express is reporting that Indian Premier League side the Delhi Dynamos want to sign Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as they feel the veteran Swede has a huge fan base in India.

The Dynamos have recently signed Gianluca Zambrotta as their manager, the former Italy international who was team mate of Ibrahimovic’s at AC Milan.

Zambrotta believes that his former team mate would be open to a switch to the Indian Premier League in the near future.

Ibrahimovic only signed for United this summer, joining the Old Trafford club on a free transfer after his contract at Paris Saint Germain expired at the end of June.

The Swede has made an impressive start to life as a Red Devils having already scored six goals for Jose Mourinho’s men, and he seems likely to fulfil his two year contract in Manchester.

The eccentric forward, not 35, has had a stellar career, representing Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint Germain and now Manchester United.

He has also won the domestic title of the country he is playing in in 13 of the last 16 seasons.

Many thought that Ibrahimovic would move to Major League Soccer in the United States after his four year stint in France, but instead he decided to challenge himself in the Premier League.
