AC Milan interested in Man Utd outcast

Italian giants AC Milan are prepared to end Morgan Schneiderlin's nightmare spell at Manchester United. The Frenchman has earned just six minutes of Premier League football this season.

Schneiderlin, 26, joined the Red Devils from Southampton last year, and made 39 appearances in all competitions under former boss Louis van Gaal.

However, with Jose Mourinho incharge this term, the midfielder has barely kicked the ball for his side with the Special One looking to offload his services at the earliest opportunity.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace have been recently linked with moves for the France international, and according to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are the latest to express interest in his signature.

AC Milan are on the look out for a midfield anchorman after club-captain Riccardo Montolivo was ruled out for the best part of six months with an ACL tear.
