Arsenal make Thomas Lemar their top target
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to sign Monaco's impressive midfielder Thomas Lemar as soon as possible. The Guadeloupe born central midfieler has been outstanding for the Principality side since he made a move there from Caen.
Domestically, this season has been a special one for Lemar so far, scoring 7 goals in 17 games for Monaco; but the player also famously grabbed a goal versus Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League last year.
Lemar also made his debut for France's national team in November 2016.
The Gunners are ready to match the reported 14 million euro asking fee of Monaco to sign Lemar and it is understood that Arsene Wenger sees Lemar as an eventual replacement for Santi Cazorla.
