Conte confident Diego Costa will stay at Chelsea
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has admitted that he is confident of keeping star striker Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer.
The Spain international was linked with a big-money move to the Chinese Super League last month amid a rift with the manager.
Since then, the 28-year-old has solved his problems with Conte, and it has been recently claimed that Costa will ink a fresh five-year deal at Chelsea.
Prior to the FA clash at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Conte was once again quizzed on Costa's future, and for this, he said:
"I don't know about this situation. I think now it's very important to be focused on the present and not to look so far forward,"
"At the end of the season, we will see the situation. I'm confident [he will stay]. "
Costa is expected to play a role from the substitutes' bench when Chelsea take on the Wolves in what could be a highly entertaining Cup tie at the Molineux.
