Monchengladbach dismiss Mahmoud Dahoud sale
Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has insisted that his side have not reached any agreement over the sale of Mahmoud Dahoud.
Recent speculation suggested that the 21-year-old could join Borussia Dortmund in the summer after Monchengladbach settled on a £8.5 sum for his transfer.
Dortmund have been tracking the young midfielder in recent times, while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, previously at BvB, also has an eye on the Syrian-born footballer.
While speaking to RP-online, Eberl claimed that the club are still in discussions over a potential extension, but the transfer could go ahead, should Dahoud snub their latest offer.
Liverpool had previously lodged a £20m bid for Dahoud last summer, but Monchengladbach blocked his sale due to the departure of Granit Xhaka to Arsenal.
Dahoud has turned down 68 times for Borussia Monchengladbach since graduating from the youth ranks in 2014.
