Lucas Perez lifts lid on his Arsenal future
Arsenal forward Lucas Perez has insisted that he is 'really comfortable' at the club amid the ongoing speculation over his future.
The player's representative had recently claimed that the attacker would leave the Gunners at all costs in the summer following his struggles to cement a regular role.
With seven goals already to his name this season, Perez could consider himself unlucky to have not played more games for the Gunners, but this has had no influence on his future plans.
"It was still quite a change for me to get used to the English league when I moved here from Spain," he told Arsenal Player. "Everyone needs some time to adjust.
"Players are all different, so some take longer to adapt than others. Now I feel really comfortable - that's particularly important for a player."
Perez netted the first goal in the 2-0 win over Sutton United in the FA Cup Fifth Round, and shortly after the game, manager Arsene Wenger admitted that he feels hard to drop the winger on occasions.
