Tottenham ace still on Real Madrid shortlist

Real Madrid have yet to drop their interest in Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris. The France international is being considered to replace Keylor Navas as Los Blancos' number one.
Zinedine Zidane's side are expected to move for a new goalkeeping during the summer transfer with Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois and Manchester United's David de Gea the leading names on the list.
However, according to L'Equipe, the European champions are still keeping tabs on Lloris, who they consider as backup, should they fail to land one of the above mentioned.
Lloris inked a fresh six-year contract on a £100,000 weekly package last December, but this will not dent the pursuit of the Bernabeu giants.
Both Courtois and De Gea are likely to cost fees in excess of £55m, and Real Madrid see Lloris as the cheaper option with Tottenham likely to provide less resistance at the right price.
Lloris, who has previously represented Lyon and Nice, will make his 200th competitive appearance for Tottenham Hotspur when they take on Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
