Dybala could arrive at the Emirates this summer

Arsenal will reportedly step up their interest in Juventus ace Paulo Dybala, should Max Allegri be appointed as the next head coach.

Long standing manager Arsene Wenger is under pressure in the coming games, and it is predicted he could leave at the expiry of his contract - owing to the unpleasant atmosphere around the club.

According to The Sun, Allegri has already set his sights on signing Dybala for Arsenal this summer with contract rebel Alexis Sanchez likely to be sold.

Sanchez has recently placed his demands for a non-negotiable £250,000-a-week contract, and he is most likely to depart with Paris Saint-Germain willing to match his requirements.

Dybala, 23, has been restricted to the centre-forward role since Gonzalo Higuain's arrival last summer, and it is understood that he could consider a move elsewhere provided there is the option of Champions League football.

The Gunners have been Champions League regulars over the past 20 years, but there is a possibility of missing out on a top-four position this season due to the competition from both Liverpool and Manchester United.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the league table, two points behind fourth-placed Liverpool with a game in hand.
