Jurgen Klopp content with goalkeeping options
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp won't jump into the summer market for a new goalkeeperdespite the inconsistent performances from both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
The Reds had recruited Karius from German club Mainz last summer with a view to offering him the number one role at Merseyside.
However, the 23-year-old made a couple of blunders during the first-half of the campaign, and this has in turn seen Mignolet retain his position - though he is not error proof.
Recent speculation suggested that Klopp could move in for a new shot-stopper in the summer with the likes of Kasper Schmeichel and Joe Hart being on the Reds radar.
But Klopp has now seemingly ruled out a deal for a fresh goalkeeper, and he is prepared to stick with his current options for the summer and beyond.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the league standings with 52 points, and they will seek to further strengthen their Champions League ambitions with a victory over Burnley on Sunday.
