Spurs win but Harry Kane limps off

Tottenham will be hoping Harry Kane's injury is not as bad as it first looked

Tottenham Hotspur dominated their match against Millwall in the FA Cup on Sunday, coming out 6-0 winners at White Hart Lane. Spurs are now through to the semi finals, which will be contested by four of the Premier League's current top six teams. However, star striker Harry Kane limped off with an ankle injury in the early stages of the game.

Kane, who has been in outstanding form this season, picked up the injury just seven minutes into the match, when his shot was blocked by defender Jake Cooper, who's challenge followed through on to Kane.

It is not yet known how long Kane will be out for, but Spurs will be hoping that the injury is not as bad as it first appeared, with the England international being a vital part of their plans.

Without Kane, Tottenham continued to dominate, enjoying 76 percent of the match possession. Goals from Christen Eriksen and Son Heung-Min gave the home side a 2-0 half time lead. Tottenham's dominance continued in the second half, with Son, Dele Alli and Vincent Janssen making it 5-0, before an error from Millwall goalkeeper Tom King allowed Son to complete his hat-trick in stoppage time.

Spurs 6-0 victory sees them march on to the FA Cup semi finals, but they will be desperate to see their talisman Harry Kane back on the field sooner rather than later.
