Arsenal keeping tabs on La Liga left-back
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Valencia full-back Jose Gaya ahead of a potential move for his signature in the summer.
The Gunners are due to add a couple of options to their backline this summer with the need for a new left-back at the top of their wishlist.
Both Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs have earned their opportunities on the left side of defence this season, but neither seem to present confidence on the playing field.
The likes of Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney have been linked with moves to Arsenal this summer, and according to The Mirror, Gaya is the latest to be added to their shortlist.
Jose, still 21, is regarded as one of the finest young prospects in La Liga, but his value has gone down in recent times with Los Che in particular struggling in the Spanish league.
Valencia have lost key players to their Spanish rivals over the years. and this could put the Gunners in the front seat, should they cough up a sum of around £25m for Gaya in the summer.
