Spurs plot bids for Premier League duo

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly planning to recruit both Ross Barkley and Wilfried Zaha during the summer transfer window.

The Spurs manager is said to be a keen admirer of the duo, and is prepared to cough up a decent sum in order to lure them to White Hart Lane.

Barkley, who has spent his entire career at Everton, could be leaving Goodison in the summer, should he fail to agree terms over a fresh contract beyond 2018.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace will face pressure to sell Zaha in the next transfer window after having previously snubbed an approach from Spurs last year.

Both Barkley and Zaha has proved to be key performers for their respective clubs in recent seasons, and Spurs will have to pay at least £30m each in order to do business this summer.

Barkley has been in rich form for Everton in recent weeks with six goals in just eight outings, while Zaha has notched five goals and six assists for Crystal Palace during the ongoing campaign.
