Cesc Fabregas to leave Chelsea?
Spain international Cesc Fabregas will reportedly push for a move elsewhere following Chelsea's desire to sign a new central midfielder.
The 29-year-old has been in-and-out of the Blues first-team in recent games, and this has urged him to assess his future with the World Cup coming along next year.
According to BeIN Sport, AC Milan will reportedly do battle with Marseille in the pursuit of Fabregas, who remains behind the likes of Nemanja Matic and N'Golo Kante in the pecking order.
Fabregas currently has a contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2019, but the lack of regular football has already had the influence on his national team selection this term.
The Rossoneri have held a keen interest in Fabregas since last summer, and they could lose out to French club Marseille, who could use the presence of Andoni Zubizarreta to good effect.
Zubizarreta, who holds the sporting director position at Marseille, was key to bringing Fabregas back to Barcelona from Arsenal in 2011, and he could perform a similar task in luring the player to the Stade Velodrome.
