Alvaro Morata on verge of Chelsea move?
Chelsea may have moved a step ahead of their European rivals after having agreed personal terms with the representative of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
The Premier League leaders are due to move in for a top-class marksman in the summer with the future of Blues ace Diego Costa hanging in the balance.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol suggests that the west London giants have reached an agreement to sign the highly-rated Spaniard after they met up with his agent earlier in the week.
Morata has been suffocated of regular playing time in the current campaign with Zinedine Zidane in favour of a much experienced Karim Benzema to lead the line.
The striker's girlfriend has already begun house hunting in the English capital with Morata said to prefer a move to Chelsea over Manchester United, who are yet to be assured of Champions League football for next season.
Morata, who bagged a brace in a rare start against Granada over the weekend, has amassed 20 goals across all competitions for the European champions this term.
