Spurs prepare bid for new Gareth Bale
Teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon has entertained Championship audiences all season, with his pace and skill causing problems for defenders on a weekly basis. His Fulham team were defeated in the play offs last week, but that doesn't mean that Sessegnon won't be playing in the Premier League next season.
A number of top flight teams have been showing interest in the seventeen-year-old left back, who has been dubbed the new Gareth Bale by some, and now The Sun reports that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a £12 million bid for him.
Fulham are desperate to keep hold of Sessegnon but may be willing to cash in on him instead of seeing his current deal with the club expire. The youngster is said to be very keen on a move to the Premier League, but wants assurances that he will be given first team opportunities.
The fact that current left back Danny Rose is being strongly linked with a move away from the club may help this transfer go through, which would allow Sessegnon to challenge for the first choice left back position alongside Ben Davies.
