Liverpool interested in Napoli defender
Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam may be the man to end Liverpool's left-back problems, with the club having only one recognised player in that position, which lead to James Milner being used as cover for much of the last campaign.
Alberto Moreno is the only natural left-back that Liverpool currently have and manager Jurgen Klopp has been less than impressed with his performances since he took charge of the Anfield club.
Moreno is expected to leave Liverpool this summer, meaning that the Merseyside team will have to spend on creating depth in defence, as they look to become genuine Premier League contenders next season, whilst also performing strongly in Europe.
Whilst James Milner performed well during his appearances, Klopp would much prefer to have a recognised left-back in his starting lineup, whilst Milner could be better utilised in midfield.
The Sun reports that 26-year-old Ghoulam is the man that Liverpool currently want to fill the vacancy. The Napoli defender has impressed club scouts, meaning that an official move may soon be made.
This could be just one of many signings to come from Liverpool this summer, with Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah also currently being strongly linked with moves to Anfield.
