Barcelona ready part-exchange deal for Bellerin
Barcelona ready part-exchange deal for Bellerin
Spanish heavyweights Barcelona are looking to lure Hector Bellerin back to the Camp Nou in a deal which could see Rafinha join Arsenal in the summer.
Bellerin has been quiet regarding his future in recent weeks, but his Spain Under-21 teammate Denis Suarez suggested that the 22-year-old is torn over a move to Catalonia.
According to Marca, the Catalan giants are hoping to reduce Bellerin's valuation this summer by offering Rafinha in a player-plus-cash agreement.
Barca had initially planned a £45m approach for their former graduate, but the availability of Marco Verratti has urged the club's hierarchy to rethink over the fee.
Technical director Robert Fernandez is working on a limited budget this summer, and part of the transfer kitty could be used to lure Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain in order to bolster the central midfield.
Rafinha has played in various positions for Barca including right wing-back and right wing, and he is said to want regular first-team action elsewhere in order to retain a potential spot in the Brazil squad.
The 24-year-old has earned just 48 league appearances for Barcelona since his debut back in the 2014/15 season.
